11th through 14th April, ECMAS was an exhibitor within the

Effective immediately, Gary A. English has
assumed the role of CEO of ECMAS BVI, parent company of The
Emirates College of Media Arts and Sciences. The ECMAS BVI
Board of Directors will oversee the management of all ECMAS
global operations. Additional Executive and Non-Executive
Members of the ECMAS BVI Board of Directors will be announced

Founder and President Gary A. English, a
member of the Forbes CEO Network, has graciously accepted
an invitation to become an Honorary Member of The
Thinker's Club (www.thinkers-club.com).
The Thinker's Club is a non-profit, non-governmental organization
dedicated to bringing together “innovative thinkers”
from politics, industry, journalism, science and other areas
to work on a generational-spreading improvement of certain
processes in our global societies.

from 13 - 17 September in Basel, Switzerland, where they
will formally announce the October opening
of ECMAS administrative offices in Dubai. More than 5,000

James P. McNab, a world renowned figure in higher education,
has accepted the post of Vice President of Academic Affairs/Provost.
For the past eight years (1997-2005), he served as Assistant
Provost for International Programs and head of the International
Office at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW)
in addition to his full schedule of lectures. |
